Dr BeomCheol (Peter) Kim is a lecturer of Hospitality Management at the School of Hospitality and Tourism. His academic qualifications include a MS (Hospitality Management) from Ohio State University and a PhD (Hospitality and Tourism Management) from Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech University in the USA. Peter’s research interests are on strategic human resource management and service marketing. Specifically, by quantitative research methods (e.g., meta-analysis, Hierarchical Linear Modeling, Structural Equation Modeling), he has examined hospitality/tourism organizations’ strategic decisions to deal with their workforces, organizational behaviors to ensure quality services and customers’ responses to service expectations/experiences which eventually affect organizational performance. Dr Kim’s previous works appeared at peer-reviewed journals such as Psychological Reports, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Education, and Journal of Hospitality Marketing Management, while his recent research papers has been either accepted for publication at Cornell Hospitality Quarterly and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management or under review at Journal of Service Research and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research.
