Hokitika Wildfoods Festival, Hokitika, New Zealand: Current state analysis and strategic review.

The primary aim of this project is to undertake an in-depth assessment and analysis of the demographic and psychographic profiles of visitors to the internationally recognised Hokitika Wildfoods Festival, through the on-site and on-line application of customised survey instruments. Particular emphasis is placed on developing highly relevant and robust metrics with respect to the expectations, motivations, perceptions and satisfactions of current festival attendees. The results from the primary research will inform a major strategic and operational review of the Festival and the development of a new strategy to ensure the Festival’s continued relevance and competitiveness in today’s market.
